delicious and filling lunch in the restaurant with a grandiose community focused mission. we had no problem with the cost of our meal, knowing that they pay their employees a living wage. our server was helpful and mentioned the brunch menu. we're gonna eat here again. View all feedback.
What theatricks doesn't like about The Volstead By Unity:
Original Review: This place is truly amazing! As someone who doesn’t enjoy the taste of alcohol or the sensation of being tipsy, I found it to be a dream to discover a full vegan non-alcoholic bar! They even offer bottles of their "liquor" for you to take home. The food was not only fantastic but also very filling. Plus, they provide a living wage to their servers, and any extra tips go to the kitchen staff as well!... View all feedback.
They forgot to give the dasher multiple items, but most importantly the food was incredibly bland, borderline bad. Completely lacking in flavor. The Philly Cheesesteak genuinely had no flavor, and the Lemon Caper Chick’n Capellini had no dressing. The pasta was overcooked and clumped, there was no sauce and only a handful of bad tasting fake chicken. I do not recommend. Especially for their ridiculous prices
I love the food but the second order was half or less the amount I received the first time I paid the inflation price that means I should get standard portions I would visit this place but I wouldnt order again
I am a non drinker so it was amazing to be able to order a drink with the zero proof alcohol and that was just the start of our meal! We had the Caulimash, Isle of The Sun and Cheeseste’k fried pickles, onion rings sweet potato wedges and every single one was simply delicious. The milkshake was delicious too! Our server was simply awesome! I highly recommend going there!
This place is awesome. Ambiance is great, food is delicious, staff is above and beyond friendly. I love the non alcoholic bar and I'm not someone who doesn't drink the drinks are just legitimately delicious! . I almost never go here though, and it's because the price is kind of ridiculous. I just can't afford it. We get apps here and it costs what a full meal would elsewhere. I love the Unity brand and the staff and the food, but people need to be able to afford to go :
Quite expensive food. Not much ambiance. Not sure drinks with alcohol words (eg, whiskey) throughout the descriptions is a great idea. I don’t need or want a place that feels like a bar. I’d give it a second chance … maybe.
