A friend and I stop by for Pierogi Week. We had the Shepardâs pie and onion and curry pierogies. They were excellent. The staff was attentive and social. Everyone not eating wore a mask. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Green Rock Tavern:
From 5 stars to 1st it was a lot of fun when it was honest with God Diving bar, but someone bought it, they changed everything, and it is now terrible. The ambience is completely away from the old place and they have these annoying people who work there, the feeling they have to scream at the top of their voice to the patrons, even if the place is quiet, what seems to be all the time. Then in a pipe to brunch and got blown away! The chicken waffles were stellar with picking fried chicken meat! The French toast was also with the spiced maple syrup from this world! Also, do yourself a favor and get a page of kielbasa that comes with a few pickled cabbage! I was there for dinner too, and their perogi are also rashes, but I have to go back to build their burgers soon. The mood in general is super chill and fun, music was also great (they have a jukebox in the front), staff was super nice, and they also have board games there!
My friend coveted a cheeseburger and I remembered how people told me to check this place for their burgers. This place wasn't for us. We're here at 6:45. Saw there for 15 minutes before I decided to just try to order at the bar. After I ordered our food and drinks, the bartender was rude to me and my girlfriend when he brought us our drinks. We ordered burgers, chicken sandwiches and pommes. We only got our food after 8:00. Again we were there at 6:45. The place wasn't even full. I counted! There were 21 people in place and only about 8-10 people (including us) were in the dining area. When the food finally came out, the bartender made another snorky comment to us. Our food order was not correct, so we just have a box and have it there. I enjoy diving bars in town, but honestly, it's not.

Especially this one snotty blond woman and the one black man who is naked. Both can definitely use some lessons in hospitality. If you are looking for a good diving bar in the area, go ahead.
I'm coming to this place a few years and I love it it's so it's so relax chill but also heart-warming and family friendly I bring all my friends and family members to hear if I want to go out and celebrate with them I always come here after work to relax and unwind and feel good about myself I never had no disappointments or upsets hereGreat food and drinks
If you are reading this review you are in the right place! Green Rock is a great bar. If you are hungry you have to try the variety of pierogis! The owners are the kindest people and truly treat you with hospitality. You will be coming back! Oh and play pinball!
