Fantastic beer, delicious food, and excellent service! They have a beautiful selection of local beers on tap, along with a wider array of cans and bottles. The menu is impressive. Both the burgers and the truffle dishes, as well as the cheese sandwich with ham, were big hits. The staff is outstanding and very attentive. This was a wonderful first meal on our two-week trip to the US from Britain. View all feedback.
What Gabby H doesn't like about South Philly Tap Room:
Pretty over priced happy hour and limited menu overall. The different shade of purple was very concentrated and needed watered down to drink. The chicken cutlet sandwich was good and a decent portion but nothing to rave about. The service was good overall. There wasn't very many stout IPA options for a tap room and limited selection of IPAs. View all feedback.
Solid bar, good beer list, solid bar food. Good for brunch, happy hour, or one last beer before you leave your pals.
I took a trip to south Philly with my friend and was not familiar with any of the restaurants that were near me. I had a taste for burgers and fries and came across this place. The staff was friendly, and it is a very lively environment. I got the truffle Parmesan fries, which was the best truffle fries that I ever had. I also had the burger and it was delicious. I rate the burger and fries a 10/10. If you are in Philly and want to try a place that offers good food and top notch service, eat here!!!
I live just a few blocks from SPTR and it’s become a staple for my girlfriend and I. We go probably once ever two weeks (at a minimum) to grab dinner and a few drinks. It has a very cozy atmosphere inside and the food is really good. I personally love the chicken hoagie. On top of all that the staff is super nice and we can almost always find a seat somewhere. Super glad to have this in the neighborhood.

Good food, not too expensive and usually not too crowded. The brunch **** Mary is very spicy! The portions are quite large.
