What anthony priestas doesn't like about Shank's Original:
Pretty mediocre cheesesteak. Good rolls but steak was tough and the sandwich was on the drier side despite the Whiz, and didn't care for the larger sized meat and onion. Whiz wasn't incorporated into the meat just placed as a layer on the bottom of the roll. Decent spot but disappointed. View all feedback.

I had no idea what I was missing! I went, explored, and enjoyed the food! It was incredible, and I even got a T-shirt!
Absolutely the best cheesesteak I've ever had! I ordered the Philly Special, and it truly lived up to its reputation. I don't think I'll ever want a cheesesteak from anywhere else. Treat yourself and definitely give this place a shot!
A must-visit in Philly! This spot offers the best cheesesteak right by the river, complete with outdoor seating.
