1. The service at this restaurant was exceptional, with knowledgeable and attentive staff. The wine list was excellent, with great pairings for the dishes on the menu.
2. The atmosphere and decor were lovely, although it was a bit noisy. However, the energy and buzz in the room made it a good kind of loud.
3. The kitchen ran smoothly and all dishes were on point.
4. The food at this restaurant could almost be considered 5-star quality, with creative concepts and flawless execution. However, each item I tried lacked that one extra element to elevate it to perfection. While the simplicity and purity of the dishes are admirable, adding a touch of crunch and saltiness to the signature scallops, for example, could take them to the next level.
My wife and I found this restaurant as one of the best we've visited in Philly! We would come back to dine here whenever we visit Philly!
The most creative and innovative food in Philadelphia. One of our favorite!
Amazing dinner with the birthday boy! Every dish we had was incredible! From the sun choke, mushroom, lamb bacon and coffee oil soup, to the snail and chicken lasagne with bechemel sauce and walnut Yuzu pesto (licked the plate) to the dry aged duck breast with cabbage stuffed with duck, to the Cala Cala orange panda cotta and apple cake we were blown away! Great service and decor also! #droolworthy #gaygourmet #yummy
Excellent courses and cocktails. Will happily return again as the seasons/menu changes. Diver scallops are a must.
Hadn't been in a year or two and the food and menu were outstanding. Really impressed across the board
