Red Wine Steak House - Philadelphia

We booked two weeks in advance for 8 people at 3 pm. The kitchen must have been overwhelmed, as it did not trick less than an hour and half for food to the table. The waitress never stayed back to see if we needed refills throughout the waiting period or to tell us why it took so long.

My experience was wonderful the food was delicious the drinks were great! After we had dinner, we went to the club side and drank more and just danced away the night! It was great thanks for letting me celebrate my birthday with you! Thank you. Wine, you're great! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!

I took my son and grandson on a Saturday night after the day in Philly Museum-Hopping (we drove from Northern Virginia to Fri for a long weekend). We had made reservations through Open Table, but really not necessary, as there were very few diners when we arrived. Not sure why, as it is a very welcoming environment. Maybe later in the evening (there is also a banquet hall and nightclub in separate areas of the same building, I believe that all part of the same facility). Our server was extremely gracious with my grandchildren (11 and 8) and very attentive to the needs of the entire group. The food was very good (I had New York Steak, my son had chicken, a grandson had Mac and cheese, and the other one Hamburger and Pommes), and the portions generous (especially for the guys). Also a beautiful and affordable bottle Pinot Noir shared with my son to supplement the meal. My only negative was that the side salad I ordered was much larger than I expected, but it was well joined and satisfying (although a tad light on dressing). All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we all enjoyed a very good meal at the end of a long day walking and standing. I would definitely return when I'm back in the area. Thanks for being exactly what we needed.

You had trouble subduing a big party. The service was very slow.

Do yourself a favor and TRY THEM OUT! I can only say good things about this place. The attention and service are 100. The food is delicious, flavorful, and very nice presentation. The drinks are good, and very good mix drinks as well. Highly highly highly recommend. And the place is also very nice. They remodel and it looks amazing! Check it out.
