Was Dora R at Pod a mag?
Very cool vibe. It has a great variety of main dishes and small plates to share. The ramyun and honey fries were my favorites. The chocolate dessert was a bit of a let down. The service was fast and very attentive! I will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What Erika Dueñas dislikes about Pod:
I was hoping to give a higher rating, but I ended up feeling let down. The food was decent (not exceptional), but the drinks were lacking. Some menu items were outrageously expensive, and when we added shrimp to the glass noodles, we only received a couple. The service, however, was excellent! I suggest trying the spicy rice cakes, they were delicious! View all feedback.
Always reliable and good for folks with dietary restrictions. That said, it is pricey for what you get and the interior really needs refurbishing.
We had a great time for my birthday dinner at Pod. Food, service top notch! They even brought me dessert with a little sparkler for my birthday! Went to eat with a vegan and GF and it was easy for everyone to find sometime to eat. stars!
Three of us had a reservation for 7:45 Saturday night. We arrived promptly on time yet were not seated until 8:15. We were then placed at the literal worst table in the entire place right by the door and hostess stand. This table was large enough to fixAtleast 5 people but we were only a party of three. Frankly, we should have never been seated there in the first place. If youare an upscale, expensive establishment, the least you can do is honor the reservation time and size. I was extremelydisappointed. As for the food, Hand rolls were tiny and bland and the dumplings could have passed for airport food. On a lighternote, the tofu stew was absolutely delicious and I would for sure order it for takeout. And our waitress was lovely and she dida wonderful job.
I wanted to give a higher rating here but ultimately I was disappointed. The food was very good (not outstanding) but the drinks fell flat. Some of the food items were EXTREMELY overpriced and we added shrimp to the glass noodles and we got likemaybe 2 shrimp. The service was great! I highly recommend the spicy rice cakes, they were perfect!
