A very pleasant place. Very good service. The waitress warned us that two courses would be a lot of food for a couple, which was very nice. Very comforting food. View all feedback.
What Nancy McCartney doesn't like about Pietro's Coal Oven Pizza - Walnut Street:
We had calamari to start. It was tasty but a small portion. We then split a marinara pizza with mushrooms and pork sausage. It was very good. Our server was very nice and polite. The bread accompanying dinner was very good. One suggestion add Chardonnay to your wine list. View all feedback.
VEGETARIAN REVIEW: Ordered the margherita pizza and a few vegetarian pasta dishes.
I never give bad reviews, but today I think my experience at this place cannot be untold.
If a restaurant charges $26.50 for a pizza, a customer would be right to expect one great f'n pizza, right? Well that's not what we got.
Lovely ambiance, fresh, flavorful food and good waitstaff. A neighborhood gem. Food was all cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
Such an awesome find here in Dallas, the food is rich and delicious and intense. The upstairs is delightful on a cool breezy day and they have fantastic view. I don't know her name, but the girl with the amazing tattoo is just lovely.
