Convivial and inviting, Osteria's heart is its open main kitchen where an award-winning menu is crafted, featuring antipasti, homemade pastas, house-cured salumi, authentic Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas, wood-grilled meats, seafood, and decadent desserts. Inspired by traditional osterias in Northern Italy, Osteria is the dream realized by Vetri Family partners Jeff Benjamin and Chefs Marc Vetri and Jeff Michaud. Osteria has been recognized as one of the country's most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants since its opening in 2007, earning a 3-out-of-4 bell review from the Philadelphia Inquirer and Chef Michaud the 2010 James Beard Foundation Award for "Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic" for his exceptional work in the kitchen.

Feedback
Osteria in Philadelphia offers a perfect dining experience with a mix of unique dishes. Despite being slightly overpriced and lacking some menu items, the food is delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is great for both indoor and outdoor dining, and the service is top-notch. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes, from Fettuccine Carbonara to grilled cauliflower and baked ricotta. The restaurant also offers a great selection of appetizers and amazing bread served with the meal. Overall, Osteria is a must-visit spot in Philly for a memorable dining experience.
Osteria is a great for an after work cocktail as well as a casual dinnerThe food is always fresh.
A 5'er for this causal yet perfectly upscale Italian eatery Decor is modern comfort with a touch of butcher block.
Had an after-work dinner here and it was kind of an odd experience. No one was at the front to seat us even though there was a flock of staff ambling
Came here for my birthday and everything we had was amazing! The menu is seasonal but the Francobolli seems to be a staple and it should be. Definition of melt in your mouth. It is family style and the food comes out when it’s done vs all together.
The place was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was beautiful and everyone was so kind. Our waiter Ryan was so attentive and patient, he answered all of our menu related questions! The pre fix menus for restaurant week was also delicious and theportions were big enough that we left extra full! Will definitely go back in the future!
