More Than Just Ice Cream - Philadelphia

The service at this restaurant was incredibly slow. It took over 2 hours to receive our food during Saturday lunch. The waiter was extremely busy and forgot to take our drink orders until 15 minutes later. It took almost an hour for our food to finally arrive, and when it did, the sauce that was supposed to be on the side ended up on the eggs. Despite the mistake, I didn't send it back due to the long wait. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with the amount of orders. While I have visited this restaurant many times for a leisurely brunch, this experience was slow and frustrating. Unless you have 3 hours to spare for brunch, I would recommend considering other options. I even had to ask for a refill on my hot water for tea, which was disappointing as it did not meet the usual standard of service.

It was a perfect post-Broad Street Run brunch with friends. Service was slow but, this was most likely due to the high-volume of customers and, only two wait staff. Won't hold it against them. Highly recommend this place for a breakfast or lunch.

Despite asking for the sauce on the side, it was served on the eggs. The kitchen seemed to be struggling to keep up with the orders. While I have enjoyed dining here in the past for a leisurely brunch, this particular experience was slow and frustrating. If you have plenty of time to spare for brunch, this place may be suitable, but otherwise, I would suggest reconsidering your choice. I even had to request a refill of hot water for my tea, as the service was not up to its usual standard.

More than just Ice Cream was a real treat. Food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The desserts are amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Staff was excellent and patient with our family group including several children and one major spill.
