What a truly cool and unique restaurant! I highly recommend checking it out. We began with the roasted mac 'n' cheese bites, which were absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we ordered the penne pasta and the Argento sandwich. What Sarah Frauchiger doesn't like about Monster Vegan:
The food was okay. Definitely had other vegan food for lower or similar price that were larger positions. Didn't enjoy the bread for the General Tso's, I thought it was lower quality and it took away from the sauce and brussel sprouts. The pesto pasta with a dollop of ricotta was delicious, even though it was swimming in sauce. I don't recommend the beignet. Mac and cheese balls were slamming. Super cool vibe though.... I’ve been here for brunch and dinner and omg….the food never disappoints! Even my non vegan says this place is a 10/10! She was amazed at how great the food was!!
Food is astounding inna really cool monster vibe. It is so worth going out of your way. We got the General Tso's Hogie and the Calamari (oyster mushroom). The hogie was out of this world. My husband isn't vegan and said the caimari was some of the best he ever had. Next time we are in Philly we will definitely be back.
Everything here is delicious. I wish I could of tried everything. Staff very friendly!
First time here and it exceeded my expectations. Vegan comfort food without trying too hard. Came as a group of 3 and we picked 4 dishes to share. Theme of the restaurant is fun too
The seitan wings were amazing. They are a must have. I was skeptical about the wasabi cucumber ranch, but it was not spicy at all.
