Mangia Macaroni - Philadelphia

I’m from a Brazilian/Italian family, and most of my childhood was watching my grandma, aunt, and my great-grandmother in a “cooking competition” every single Sunday after church. Sunday means pasta, tomato, cheese, and protein to my family, ever since I moved to the States 10 years ago I was struggling with Italian restaurants in Philly. They are all too “Americanized” and all pasta styles taste the same… till I tried Mangia Macaroni. I appreciate their cooking so much, it’s always very fresh, and delicious and it tastes like my grandma’s cooking style, very homemade. So if you really trying to experience good Italian food, Magia Macaroni is THE PLACE! My favorite dishes are the Chicken Parmigiana and the lasagna, just P E R F E C T I O N!!!

Fabulous! I had the day from hell at work and headed home aggravated and starving at 8:15 pm. Wanted manicotti but couldn't find any to order. Landed here and everything was delicious, plus there's a marketplace so I was able to order a big tub of olives. And was delivered by 8:53 pm. Thanks for making a great end to an ugly day Mangia and my Uber Eats guy Mahza.

We were craving Italian tried out Mangia because of decent reviews prices. Bad decision. The chicken Alfredo was the worst my partner's had separated sauce, dry flavorless precooked thin strips of chicken. The garlic bread (buy 1 get 1 free) was small burnt. Side salads were nothing special. And although my chicken parm was decent, it didn't come with pasta! No wonder it was cheap, but seriously?!? We'll go back to other tried true places, even if they cost more.

Wow what a treat. If you ever need to serve lots of people and are looking for ease, speed and something delicious, we highly recommend this restaurant. We got the family size dishes and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible. me and my girlfriend can’t stop throwing up. i’m on my way to urgent care now for an iv. don’t get the penne alla vodka
