Their pizza is amazing but it's not apart of the regular menu. Made a reservation which I had to confirm via text and phone call, yet my table was not ready in time. This caused us to run into the person we were trying to surprise. We did not get recommended any specials or drinks, or asked if we have been there before. I marked on the reservation that this was for a birthday and even came in with a cake. They lit the candles and cut the cake for us which was nice, but not one person who served us even said Happy Birthday once. Some of our plates were lukewarm, assuming that was because they wanted all of our meals to come out together but they should have fired the pastas last if that was the case. They also didn't recommend any desserts or drinks. I was excited because of my experience with their pizza and a video I saw on Instagram speaking highly of this place, but I honestly wouldn't go again.
I went to Macaroni's on Saturday with my boyfriend on a date. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. One very unprofessional thing and lack of ethics was the server. His name was Vicente he spoke Spanish). He approached me in a certain way that I didn't appreciate because I didn't give him a tip. As I explained and apologized, because I was reading it so fast, I thought, in general, the tip was automatically charged to my account. I didn't want to make a big scene or call his manager because I was having a great time with my boyfriend. But his service was excellent. He should've been more respectful and careful in approaching people. Not in front of everyone.
