Laxmi's Indian Grille - Philadelphia

The food has noticeably improved since my last visit in 2013. If you're dining with a large group, it's better to take your order to go, as seating is limited. The variety of spice levels caters to a broad range of tastes, and there are also great options for vegetarians.

The food was excellent, though the decor wasn't particularly engaging. The service was fairly quick, but nothing out of the ordinary. Delivery could use some improvement. Pickup is the best option, but dining in is also pleasant, and they allow BYOB. It’s never too crowded, which is a plus.

I’m surprised to see some negative reviews for Laxmi's because my girlfriend and I absolutely love dining there. We've been eating at this restaurant at least a couple of times a month for the past three years, and we've always enjoyed fantastic food and excellent service. The naan is amazing, the samosas are tasty, and the chicken tikka consistently impresses. I usually order two of their mango lassi drinks so I can enjoy one the next morning. We always opt for takeout, and we've never had a problem with our orders. We highly recommend Laxmi's and believe you should give it a try if you're looking for great Indian cuisine!

Delicious food, prompt service. I like how you can select the spice level. The only gaffe was when they brought dessert without first clearing the table. Nevertheless, we would go back. The place was empty on a Friday night, which made conversation easy.

Small whole in wall place. Clean comfortable cosy setup with glass view to street. Great food. Lots of options. Courteous service. Overall delicious Indian entrees dining experience.
