The service was even better. Our server, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch (he had long hair and a wanderlust spirit), was attentive, friendly, and eager to share insights about the restaurant’s history. Many of the fusion items on the menu reflect the diverse places the owner/chef has lived. If this city had a Michelin guide, I am confident this restaurant would earn two stars. The price, which included a bott... View all feedback.

I loved this place when it was in Collingswood,N.J. but alas they closed last year. Very good food but pretty noisy. Loved the choices and the cocktail menu is very accessible. View all feedback.
The food is great at IndieBlue. However, if you want an amazing experience, sit at the bar with Ian. Especially during happy hour. Have the Chicken Makhani Poutine while you drink!
Great service! We asked if the chicken was halal and our server made sure to go to the back and properly check and confirm. It was halal! Do ask because suppliers can change. Decor is nice and intimate. Restaurant is clean and the back curtain was open and I could see a part of the kitchen that also looked super clean. malai kofta khubani amazing flavors! the kofta was minced paneer in a meatball shape! I never had paneer like this, I typically have it in cubes. Also got the madras which was flavorful! There's a tendency for desi restaurants to give a lot of salan aka curry aka the liquid part but not enough body meat or paneer etc . I really have a problem with this! It's like fishing for food!!! Both entrees are supposed to come with rice and the server asked if we wanted naan also, I said sure, one piece is fine. He came out with only one bowl of rice and charged me for the naan. Did he just compile both of our rices in one bowl? Is this a marketing tactic to get me to think it's either rice or naan and then just wrongfully charge customers? also, looks like the menu tends to change so just wait to get to the restaurant and decide what you want to eat
I loved this place. Stopped by for Center City Restaurant Week with some friends and we all had a great time. Started with a few drinks. I got The Connoisseur which I thought was reasonably priced for top tier liquor. (glenlivet 21, johnnie walker blue label, macallan 18, macallan rare cask) I've never had any of these so it really added to the whole experience. The actual 4 course meal was amazing. From the soup to the Masala. Great take on modern Indian cooking. There were so many wonderful flavors rolled into this one meal. Service was excellent.
Attempted to come here for happy hour, but they only allow you to do it if you 're sitting at the bar. No seats were open so my group of friends and I did restaurant week instead, which was worth it. We all purposely ordered different items so we could all share. We ordered the demitasse soup, spinach chaat, crab corn tikki served with sweet chili aioli, butter chicken poutine, chicken korma, makhani, kheer, toasted coconut gulab jamun and chocolate pot de crème. Everything tasted amazing with a nice blend of various spices. Definitely modern Indian cuisine but still very good and worth a try! The dishes that stood out were the spinach chaat, crab corn cake, chicken korma, and chocolate pot de creme! The decor is on point and it is a nice and small intimate restaurant with friendly service. Out of the 3 desserts, my friends and I all agreed that the chocolate cake Was the best. Kheer was similar to rice pudding and delicious, but too liquidy and runny. Naan bread is also on point and amazing to dip with. 10/10
Second time coming to this resto and I told myself you BETTER take pics this time around lo and behold, I surely did. This restaurant has a nice and sexy ambiance; dim lights complements well with the decour. We RSVP for Saturday at 6PM and it was jam packed. Taste: love the chicken poutine and brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts has a sweeter touch to; mixes well with the poutine. Cant go wrong with the Lobster Biryani, not stingy with the meat. Pork Vindaloo was okay to me, has a soury taste to it perhaps from the sauce) and the naan was good but next time I 'll stick to garlic naan- you can taste the garlic more. Ambiance: mature, dark, and sophisticated Price: reasonable for the location Service: we had a great waiter. Would totally recommend this place!
