El Taco - Philadelphia

Chicken tacos and shrimp tacos? Wow! They were exactly what I was craving—fresh, well-seasoned, juicy, and plentiful. The cilantro sauce and tomatillo sauce really made the experience unforgettable.

Friendly staff and bilingual. Food was very seasoned and tasty. Nachos was delish! Definitely will return to maybe even dine-in.

Food is good but overpriced. Ive eaten here 100 times and the owner one of the stingiest cheapest people ive ever met

Delicious tacos! The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I mentioned that I had a young daughter who just wanted some taco shells, and she generously added a taco for her. The carne asada tacos were absolutely heavenly—like a nostalgic experience with an old girlfriend. The blackened shrimp were also fantastic. The el macho sauce had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming; I didn't sweat, but I was definitely close! It’s the perfect level of heat, but I would advise caution for those who aren’t used to spicy food. This isn't about race; it's just a fact! The food was so good that I couldn't even manage to take a picture before I finished it.

This is the best Mexican food I've enjoyed in a long time! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is cute and clean. Service was prompt, and they are accommodating to dietary restrictions (vegan and vegetarian options available; I'm not sure about gluten-free). I ordered a burrito along with the mango pineapple agua frescas, and I can't wait to return!
