Taqueria El Jarocho - Philadelphia

This was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for! It’s a cozy and intimate place with quick service. The food is not only delicious but also generous in both quality and quantity for the price. I highly recommend the tacos!

Nasty nasty attitude. They are not friendly or nice especially if you ask questions.

Went in hoping for a burrito after glancing at some reviews but found none on the menu. It is mostly sandwiches, cemitas and platters.After ordering mixed fajitas I was delivered two ramekins, one of salsa, the other of queso ? , and a small basket of chips. The salsa had some spice to it but wasn't too much to handle. The queso was good though it reminded me more of a spicy mayo. The chips had a nice thickness and were very crunchy.The mixed fajitas were a decently sized plate of meats and peppers, along with refried beans and rice, and a handful of tortillas. From the dining room you can see the cook making your food so you know everything is hot and fresh. The meats were well seasoned but not overly so. The tortillas were just ok seemed like warmed average grocery tortillas a real shame given the great tortilla options nearby.Service was nice, attentive but not over bearing. The atmosphere was lacking loud TVs, small, out dated dining room, cluttered decorations.

This is a fantastic place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends, or you can simply opt for takeout with their excellent menu choices. You can choose from traditional Mexican dishes or a variety of other Hispanic cuisines. The atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Muchas Gracias!

I had the most amazing steak burrito ever! The nachos are outstanding too, and the chips are the perfect kind. The service here is super fast and dependable. In the winter, I usually get it delivered, but in the summer, I prefer dining in. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I'm really happy I discovered this place!
