The food is very good and the service is excellent. As one example, I clumsily spilled my lunch after picking it up at the counter and they immediately offered to replace it. View all feedback.
What Nate M doesn't like about Dk Sushi:

I gave this place one extra star for the rice/fish/avocado side in the chef boxes which was very good with the sauce they give you. I've never been to the actual Double Knot in Center City, but this offshoot isn't the greatest reflection of it's reputation.
Stopped by to ordered take out and loved it! Everything was prepared quickly and the salmon tasted very fresh. Great food for a good price. Definitely one of the best sushi places around University City. :
High quality fish arranged in to-go boxes for a fair price. At $27, I got 3 rolls, 6 pieces of sushi, an avocado, fish, rice salad, and edamame. 3 rolls at this quality is typically around $20 alone so I?m not sure what the bad reviews about price and quality are. Funny enough, this is actually the best quality sushi you will find in UCity, and it?s takeout.
Salmon over rice and avocado is really good $8). I will definitely go back. Quick place to grab sushi to go. I want to try a chef box next time. I will say menu is limited but if you find something you like it?s worth it. I didn?t try to customize anything.
For the high price, the quality is terrible. The seaweed is rubbery, the rice is low quality and overly starchy, the fish does not look or taste fresh, my edamame was undercooked and had no salt. They just package low quality sushi in a modern looking box to try to justify the price, but it is so not worth it. Even with the boxes though, they are super inflexible and don't let you make substitutions, even if you're willing to pay extra. There are much higher quality sushi places in Center City, and even if you live in University City like I do, you're better off ordering delivery than going to DK Sushi. I don't usually review restaurants, but this was terrible.
