What Julie Miller doesn't like about Al Zaytouna:
I’m usually a huge fan of this restaurant but today I had a terrible experience and won’t be going back again. I asked for dressing on the side but it was mixed in my salad the salad was completely warm and wilted. The cucumbers in my salad were inedible. We also ordered wings which are usually our favorite but half of them were just bones with meat on one part of them and very dry and over cooked. Our fries were als... View all feedback.
Im gonna try this place again just to see if it was a one off! Unfortunately the falafel and kabob were dry and the dolmas used stale rice: but the Hummus was ok! Overall was still an ok meal just wished it was fresher
Everything was excellent with great portions and tasty!
Literally everything on the menu is delicious. The food from here is always fresh, tasty and never disappoints. We order often and get the kebab platters. Chicken, lamb, steak- all of it is flavorful and cooked well. The grilled vegetables are nothing short of transcendent. How do they make their veggies taste so good? I have no idea. I am just glad they do. The rice is pretty basic- truthfully it’s not earth shattering as much as it is just simple and a lovely accompaniment to the rest of the meal. The hummus is a delight and the pita is always soft. You can’t go wrong ordering from here.
I apos;ve never eaten at, or ordered from Al Zaytouna. Tonight, I was in a Mediterranean mood and had a taste for a Greek salad all that entails; so l My salad arrived with exactly 4 tiny olives. 2 cherry tomatoes. 3 mall cucumber slices, and... 4 tiny cubes of feta cheese. The Rest of the Greek Salad Large), consisted of chopped iceberg lettuce STEMS! Not an iceberg leaf 2B found anywhere, an although the lamb was good, it was not part of the advertised dish, they were an add on. I apos;m getting a little tired of restaurants skimping on their ingredients just because the ingredients might be a little expensive. If U can apos;t afford to give the customer adequate olives and feta cheese an integral part of what makes a Greek salad tasty), then perhaps U should remove the salad from your menu altogether. Stop being so stingy!
Great spot for dinner, delicious baba ganoush and shwarma.Food: 5/5
