I love this place! The service has always been top notch and while the food isn't super fancy, I've never been disappointed with what I ordered. Super solid choice for reasonable seafood dishes with price points that won't break your wallet. A nice place to come for a nice relaxing dinner/date or come with the family. I quite enjoy this spot View all feedback.
What Terrah L doesn't like about Fish Daddy's Seafood Grill:
This place is a good go to. After an exhausting day I knew exactly what I wanted. Their service was incredible (really enjoyed our server) the spinach dip and the spinach dip pasta were good View all feedback.
The food was excellent, the server was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Any complaints I might have are too minor to bring up, so I won’t. According to Yelp, I should also comment on the ambiance, which was indeed pleasant as well.
We ordered a few dishes: - **Southwest Spinach Dip:** A great appetizer that came with both chips and pita, and the salsa was tasty as well. - **Crispy Pickles:** These were hands down the best fried pickles I've ever had—I couldn’t stop eating them! - **Steak Frites:** The steak was cooked exactly as I ordered and had a fantastic flavor. - **Tilapia Alexander:** This dish was delightful; the whipped potatoes were incredibly smooth, and the broccoli was well-seasoned. - **Catfish Atchafalaya:** The catfish had amazing flavor, although the Cajun rice didn’t quite live up to expectations. Our waiter was attentive and quick. However, I was surprised to see a charge for the club sodas we ordered, as most restaurants typically offer those complimentary. Overall, the food and service were very good, so I can see us returning. I’ll definitely be dreaming about those fried pickles until our next visit!
It’s been a while since my last visit, and I have to say I was really let down this time. The firecracker shrimp, which used to be tempura fried, is now cornmeal fried and not nearly as good. I’m really disappointed that the recipe has changed. The beer-battered fish and chips were probably the most disappointing dish I’ve ever had. It was fried like KFC chicken without any flavor, and the crust didn’t resemble what you would expect from beer-battered fish—it had a fried chicken texture. I forced myself to finish it because I was pregnant and hungry, but honestly, I really disliked it. You cannot call that beer-battered fish and chips! The service was excellent, but I just can't overlook how bad the food was. I won’t be coming back.
