It is extremely popular, and although it is large it can be hard to find a table at busy times. There is a large selection of really good cakes. Coffee is traditional German, and not really to my taste. There are savoury dishes. The choice is limited, but the menu does change from day to day. If you want cake in Pfaffenhofen, this is the place. If you want a good meal, other alternatives are available.

The ice cream sundaes put anything made across the pond to shame; fat and creamy ice cream adorned with either fruit, chocolate, nuts, caramel and a waffle fan cracker. The coffee offerings are European standard, the cappuccino 's, sultry with a swirl of foam. Great for a treat and people watching, or a break from shopping.
