Colled here for a snack on a Wednesday at 2 pm after being shown our seats, we waited long enough for our order to be taken. We waited far to long to be served. A lady next to us also wasn't happy with her wait. Other than that the food was delicious.
We arrived at Milers at 4:40 with two adults and four children. The host seated us but didn’t inform us of the closing time; we assumed it would be around 5:30 or 6. The waiter seemed unfriendly and appeared eager to finish and leave. It felt pointless to take our orders if they were closing just 20 minutes later. Once our mains arrived, it was clear they wanted to hurry us along. We felt so uncomfortable that after finishing our meals, we had the kids wrap up their remaining chips to take home. We chose to get desserts elsewhere on the way home since we didn’t want to ask for a menu. It would be better if they had a clear policy, like last orders for hot food by 4 or 4:15, so customers can enjoy their meal without feeling rushed. We spent nearly €100 in less than 30 minutes – we won’t be returning.
Two of us visited Milers and found the food quite underwhelming. Vegetarian choices were very limited. Although the restaurant’s decor and layout offered a pleasant ambiance, the menu and the dishes themselves fell short of expectations.
We stopped as a recommendation for breakfast. It was a very busy Sunday morning. The staff were friendly, efficient, and hardworking. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend the Eggs Florentine.
While looking for a spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, we stumbled upon Rogue and Co café. The atmosphere is delightful, featuring plenty of bookshelves adorned with unique decorations. A bit peckish, we decided on a light lunch of a spicy chicken wrap and seasonal soup served with flavorful brown bread. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the decor was charming. I highly recommend stopping by.
