For sure a favorite spot for me. It?s hard to choose between the crunchy chicken gyro and the falafel gyro. No matter what, always good!

Mims is so good! The spicy feta fries are flavorful, hot, and fresh. The gyros are always packed full of delicious and quality ingredients, and the service is always laid-back and kind. My mom and I each got a gyro and traded one half with each other, so I had a chicken tender gyro and a veggie one. I?ve had the falafel one a few times and that?s my go-to, but since we were there late in the evening on a Saturday they had run out of falafel. Highly recommend if you?re up for Mediterranean food!

This food truck has potential, but we will not be going back and strongly suggest you choose from one of the other food trucks nearby. Here's why: food was ok but the hummus had no flavor and the falafel was overcooked. Food was a bit over priced for this reason. Attitude of the two blond haired women (older and younger)was very sour and unpleasant on more than one occassion. I regret having given them a tip since the rudeness was probably the worst I've experienced after vacationing in this town for a.long time. I am open to trying it again if the place has new staff who are more skilled at cooking and customer service. On the other hand the area has many great food truck options in the same common area so don't let this review stop you from checking out the overall food truck and taco shop venu.For the owners reference my visit was on Friday July 30, 2023 at lunch time and the experience was so bad in memory I decided for your benefit and the community's benefit to go back and post this so you can have a chance to fix the situation there.

My family and I visit Petoskey every year and tried Mim's restaurant last year and because the food was so delicious last year, we were excited to hear that they now have a food truck which is parked closer to our hotel. The food truck is parked in an area with other food trucks, there was a great variety, but we came for Mim's. We ordered the 2 original gyros, 3 chicken tenders, fries and returned to the truck once i saw they had baklava. We took the food with us and sat by the water to eat. The sandwiches were good except there were a few burnt pieces on both, which made them hard to eat. (Seemed like some of the meat had been sitting too long and maybe dried out) The baklava was soggy. Today, we will drive to the actual restaurant and try again.
