We thoroughly enjoyed the food we had here! The barbacoa tacos were sooooo delicious, as were the refried beans. A bit more seasoning in the rice would have been nice, but I mixed it with the beans and it was so good. The owner was so kind to us, indulging us in our desire to practice our Spanish. While we were there, a few people came in to place catering orders and I can understand why. We will definitely be coming... View all feedback.

The woman working was extremely rude and had an attitude. Started yelling when my dad kindly told her that he got the wrong food. Food barely has any seasoning/flavor and the tacos are INSANELY small (they’re gone in half a bite) The man in the back, however, was very nice and i am thankful for that. View all feedback.

Very amazing taste. Portions aren’t too big, but will leave you full and satisfied. Jose himself was very social and communicative!
Looking without success for a northern Michigan family Mexican restaurant, that starts the table of with chips and salsa, and offers a taco salad, and desserts. Jose's, not so much...
I feel this is the best Mexican Restaurant I've had in the state! A simple place with food made right in front of you. Wonderful owners, just a great all around experience and way better priced. I did take one picture because it was the first item to come. After that it was all about the food!!!! Kid-friendliness: Wonderful owner!
Been the best Mexican Restaurant in Petoskey for almost 20 years!! Was there when he opened and still got there now!
