If you want a pretty good schnitzel, this is the place to go. The rosti is good. I don't know what they do to the vegetables, but they are really weird and not very nice. The desserts are sort of OK. This place has amusing ambience, and it's always possible to get a table. That could be because mine host is extremely volatile, and can be very, very touchy. About all sorts of things. If you want a pretty good schnitzel, this is the place to go. The rosti is good. I don't know what they do to the vegetables, but they are really weird and not very nice. The desserts are sort of OK. This place has amusing ambience, and it's always possible to get a table. That could be because mine host is extremely volatile, and can be very, very touchy. About all sorts of things. This place is quite an experience. Not for the faint-hearted.The upside is it's not expensive, and you could take any embarassing relatives there with complete impunity, because you probably won't ever go back there again.....Go on... see what I mean?
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming owner (we were the only customers in the restaurant).
The rating could have been higher if it weren't for the owner/manager's attitude. Despite this, the restaurant is a lovely BYO spot located 15 minutes outside of downtown Sydney.
The cheese fondue portion was very generous and delicious, but the bread was disappointing.
