What User doesn't like about Wimpy's Diner:
Walked in and walked out. You walk in and there is an awful smell of grease and dirt. Nothing looks like it has been cleaned in years, stains all over the seats and tables, looks like a dirty dinner you see in a movie along the side of the highway in the desert. Absolutely terrible. Three occupied tables, two servers and two cooks. After 45 minutes we had a coke no ice, machine broke) and coffee. We walked out !
I had an excellent breakfast at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable and my server, Drew, was really friendly and provided excellent service. My food arrived in just 10 minutes. This is definitely my go-to spot for breakfast in Peterborough.
Started with no chocolate milk then chocolate milk. No chicken fingers then chicken fingers. Ordered children's cheese burgers got grilled cheese. Ketchup watered down and mustard was old and brown. Ordered mashed potatoes with meal and had mush with brown bits served. Went home and tossed any leftovers into the fire pit. Will never go back.
I recently had the hot hamburger and breakfast at Wimpy's and I must say it's the best one I've been to. This particular location should be a flagship restaurant for the franchise. The parking is just okay.
The restaurant has been renovated and is now better than ever! The new menu is fantastic and the food is exceptional! Don't miss out on trying the chicken parm, you won't be disappointed. Our server Drew was also very friendly!
