Contribute FeedbackPapa John's in Peterborough offers mixed reviews ranging from tasteless blobs to quality pizzas. One customer had a negative experience with poor taste and ingredients, while another was pleasantly surprised by the fluffy, fresh pizza they received. Complaints also include illness after eating and limited option for thin crust. However, loyal customers praise the Lansdowne location for excellent customer service, perfectly cooked pizzas, and delicious dipping sauce. Despite mixed feedback, Papa John's seems to have a dedicated fan base in Peterborough.
Trying out most of the pizzas in Peterborough, I tried Papa John's pizza tonight, using Ubereats app. I ordered custom pizza with beef, spicy Italian sausage, peppers and many more ingredients, with Alfredo sauce base. It was the worst pizza I havetasted. There was NO taste, no flavour, hardly any meat that I could count tiny pebble sized few pieces scattered, tiny bit ofcheese if you can call it mozzarella, big thick circle of bread was all I could literally see. For $56, for a 16 inch pizza, itwas not even worth the garbage bin space. I hope this review teaches them that you cannot just serve piece of tasteless blob fora decent price and get away without facing consequences of a real review as i am also a chef with 35 years of global experience.
One big complaint. Thin crust is only available as a large pizza?! Really dumb, this has prevented me from ordering from here several times. So, I will go across the road to Pizza Nova, I can get a thin crust medium there.
This restaurant is my first choice when I want to order a pizza. The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant is clean, so everyone can enjoy fresh food in this place.
After trying out several pizza places in Peterborough, I decided to order Papa John's pizza through the Ubereats app. I customized my pizza with beef, spicy Italian sausage, peppers, and other ingredients, choosing Alfredo sauce as the base. Unfortunately, it was the most disappointing pizza I have ever had. The pizza had no taste or flavor, minimal meat (only a few small pieces scattered around), and hardly any cheese (which didn't even resemble mozzarella). The crust was thick and doughy, making it seem like I was mostly eating bread. At $56 for a 16-inch pizza, it wasn't even worth throwing in the garbage. As a chef with 35 years of global experience, I hope this review serves as a lesson to Papa John's that serving subpar food at a high price will not go unnoticed by customers.
I had a terrible experience with a delivery driver from this restaurant. When he arrived at my house, he parked in my driveway to deliver to someone on a different street. I asked him to turn off his hazard lights because I suffer from severe epilepsy and his flashing lights were shining into my bedroom window. Instead of being understanding, he responded by yelling, cursing, and revving his engine loudly before driving off quickly. When I called the store to complain, they dismissed my concerns and told me not to worry about it. This kind of behavior from a driver is unacceptable and has completely turned me off from ever trying their food.
