I went to Jeff Purveys during a late afternoon on a weekday. There was noone else in the store. We ordered the mixed seafood platter and an order of halibut. The seafood tasted great with prepackaged tartar sauce, and marinara sauce and portions were decent. Prices were also average; we spent about $30 for 3 adults and 2 children. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jeff Purvey's Seafood:
fries barely warm, bang on fish and wobble rings very hard, but maybe because they were almost cold. will never order from there again, nor will I use a door bag....not sure who was for such a terrible $55 dinner for 2. View all feedback.

The Halibut dish was greasy and overly rich. My companion ordered the onion rings and they were so thickly battered it was like eating the fish itself. The Greek salad consisted mainly of pale iceberg lettuce. Overall, we were unimpressed and ended up leaving most of our meal uneaten.
In principle they paid for pommes who were good, but as everywhere else. small overcooked dry fish with hard to crispy. very disappointing meal.
I ordered the family portion of fish and chips at this restaurant. When I got home, the food was not hot and very greasy. The fish was tough to cut with a knife and chewy. The fries were also not very hot, greasy, and soggy. I will not be returning to this restaurant for fish and chips in the future.
Ordered from here because of other reviews. Was not happy ,The fries would have been good if hotter only lukewarm ,coleslaw was good our 2 piece halibut was dry overcooked .Order came to 32 and change for delivery not worth the money .With so many restaurants...to choose from we will go elsewhere
