This is a great cafe. The coffee was great, I had a cappuccino and my wife had a latte. I also had an egg and bacon croissant and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and brought the coffee and food to our table. They do take out as well. The atmosphere was nice as well, they have a neat industrial theme going on. I would recommend this place to anyone. It seems like they do food all day and have a liquor license... View all feedback.
What Sarah Theurer doesn't like about Cork And Bean Peterborough:
Usually this place never lets me down, I love the coffees there. This time I got the lemon herb chicken sandwich and oatmeal cookie and both were horrible. The cookie was raw in the middle and the chicken was grey in several places. I threw both out. Otherwise the iced lattes are still very good. View all feedback.

Happy hour is a great idea. A fun and relaxing place to meet up with friends and colleagues for a drink. The vibe is chill. Something for everyone.
The atmosphere here is fantastic! The staff will bring you your drinks food, if they know your are staying. Super spot to meet with friends for coffee/tea and chat the hours away. Both comfy and table seating options are available.
I'm sorry, but the Cork has gone downhill. While our coffees were perfect, the wait for it was 20 min, just way too long. That did not include the 10 min wait in line which I expect on a Saturday around 3. Just the feeling in there, it's changed, feels grubby. Also, the bathrooms don't have fans it seems, ugh and someone did their business and it was awful waiting in line to use it. We were all totally grossed out. I left there thinking nope, not coming back for a long time.
Very busy when we arrived which was not surprising as it was a Saturday around midday. We ordered a small latte, cappuccino and strawberry scone to stay as we were killing time before leaving for a funeral. We waited more than 15 minutes before inquiring about our order while noticing that people who had ordered after us were receiving theirs. By this time we had to change our 'to go ' and it was another 10 minutes before we received (that 's about 30 minutes for a coffee). While waiting, there was ample time to observe the overly-chatty barrista who was involved in many conversations with people seated near the coffee station causing significant delay in service and, quite possibly, missing our order completely. The girl 'throwing the dishes around ' (I believe she was putting them away, and making sure everybody knew it, made it near impossible to hear anything when ordering, and in fact, caused errors in our order, as well.
