What User doesn't like about The Rose And Crown At Thorney:
The food was reasonably good and was priced pretty well too, the staff however weren 't that knowledgeable about the food they were selling and that came across as a let down. When I 'm ordering food if I have a question about what I 'm about to consume, the waiting staff should not only be able to make recommendations but should know about things like what the food contains and allergy information. read moreThe Rose and Crown in Thorney has emerged as a charming dining destination, impressing patrons with its reasonably priced, hearty meals and welcoming atmosphere. Guests rave about the generous portions, homemade sauces, and delightful desserts, particularly the traditional bread and butter pudding. While the staff exhibits friendly service, some diners noted a lack of detailed food knowledge, suggesting improvements in training. The pub excels in accommodating dietary needs and large groups, making it a great option for families. With a cozy ambiance highlighted by an open fire, this pub promises a satisfying culinary experience worth revisiting.
