We Chose this as it was highly recommended and read the reviews, we were not disappointed. Phoned ahead and got a table for two reserved and lucky we did, as it filled up soon after we arrived. What Lisanne Clarke doesn't like about The Grain Barge:

Very very good food and service , staff very very nice. Been using this restaurant for many years and the standards never drop.
Great food and a great view. Very friendly staff. Huge portions!!
1st visit here and absolutley loved it. Service was great the menu was well explained. We had the set menu such a good selection and just enough of each portion. Very efecient and not much waiting between each course. Great value for money.
Really good food. The place is lovely and although a bit old school, which is part of the charm An unique and pleasant experience. The set menu is very well done. A good pre-theatre place. Allow an hour and a half to eat without rushing it.
Fabulous Chinese eatery. £17.50 each for a MASSIVE starter plate, huge portion of crispy duck and 3 main courses with egg-fried rice. Superb service, quick and attentive service. Thoroughly recommended.
