I traveled to China and lived there for almos... read more This is the largest Chinese restaurant I have ever encountered in Peterborough, and I want to share my experience. I traveled to China and lived there for almost six years, visiting many Chinese restaurants along the way. Although Oriental doesn’t have an overly extensive menu, they have wisely focused on the most relevant dishes. I first heard about this restaurant only a few weeks ago, and I didn't expect much as it seemed like a small, random place that might not offer great food or service. To my surprise, I discovered it had been open for a year. Despite my initial doubts, I was craving Chinese food, so I decided to give it a try, and it was truly worth the money. It can take a bit of time for your order to be ready, possibly due to the high demand for takeout and a smaller staff, but that’s not an issue for me.

I almost want to give it a 1 star review so that people won't eat there and I can have it all too myself but the staff are too nice and the food is too good, it'd be unethical of me to lie. Their Prawn krad pratim is a solid 50/10 deffinitely try it and the panang curry is absolutely ace. Deffinitely give this place a try but just maybe don't tell too many people about it.
