Pizzeria Bounty - Peschiera Del Garda

Pleasant but average tourist place. I chose this place because it overlooks the canal of Lake Garda and has a good view. Nice outdoor decor which made me decide to stay. It has a varied menu that is suitable for everyone. The dishes are well cooked and with a pleasant plating. However, the service was not very popular, because we felt a little neglected, and the change of cutlery and the request for an extra dish did not arrive. Three of us managed to eat the mixed fry on our own with toothpicks, despite the fact that there were 3/4 tables occupied in the restaurant at noon, so there was time to better follow the customers. Surely we can go back because overall we had a good time and ate well.

Overpriced fast food atmosphere absolute tourist trap... Unfortunately we didn't see the reviews beforehand, otherwise we wouldn't have ended up here... Admittedly, we got a seat quickly, and the service was quick too, as was the food. But that was all that was positive. 3 euros per place setting for a paper mat like in a fast food restaurant and a waiter who insists on ordering quickly. Drinks didn't come properly, too much was brought and only taken off the bill after a complaint was made. The food came in minutes so nothing was freshly prepared. The carpaccio was simple ham with a few pieces of cheese on it, the lasagne was almost vegetarian, almost cold and really little, arrabiata was a simple tomato sauce on pasta that was too soft and also very little... Only the pizza was at least okay. Two starters, four main courses, five drinks 150 euros wasted. Well, thank you too. A restaurant that you should avoid.

The pizzeria didn't appear in my Google overview at all. Unfortunately, I only realized afterwards that I had probably activated a filter for a certain number of stars. So without any big or small expectations, we (2 adults, 2 children) were attracted to this restaurant by the good location. Based on many years of experience, I knew that a beautiful location usually goes hand in hand with inferior quality and unfortunately that was confirmed here too. Food came all over the place: noodles for the child and wife less than 5 minutes after ordering. Then the salad, of course without a second plate, followed by the pizzas for me and my daughter. The pasta was of lower quality, and according to my daughter the Magerita was quite ok. On my pizza the salami was still in its inedible skin. My wife's Hugo was a ready-made mix, the children's species the simplest you can find. The fact that the bill ended up with €2.50 coperto instead of the €2 per person on the menu rounded off this restaurant visit. But at least we can say that we were in the worst restaurant in the area.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Uninterested staff, food was less than average and the prices ridiculous! And the wine was very bad for €6(! a glass. On top of that they charge you €3 extra for each person. You can find this in the menu and if the food and staff were at least 4 stars It would be worth it maybe? Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30

Never sit on the terrace here to have a drink because you will be ripped off. 1 star is still too much. Menus are thrown on the table from a distance, toilets are terribly dirty and if you have a drink you are charged 3 euros per person in service costs, which could not be found on the menu. At checkout I was briefly shown the receipt and after paying the receipt was quickly grabbed and crumpled. When I stood outside I realized that 65 euros for 8 drinks was very expensive. We walked back inside to grab the crumpled receipt with a service charge of 24 euros. On the terrace I spoke to the person I had paid with and he asked if we could settle it inside. It was suggested that I would pay service costs for 4 people, of course I did not agree and only when I got angry did I get 20 euros back. Of course I also wanted the last 4 euros back, but decided not to make any more fuss and walked away angry. I would therefore like to warn everyone about these practices and advise them to avoid this restaurant. Don't get scammed!
