Excellent in everything from the friendliness of the owner to all the dishes offered in Persian style (rice with broad beans and superlative currants), well done
Good food, but Kazem replied with a joke to every question we made. After two or tree unanswered questions, we gave up. One or two jokes is fine, but he refused to give us a stright answer. The only time he got serious was at the moment of paying. What did we eat? No idea. Was it tasty? Yes, but we really wanted to taste Iranian food, not a stand up comedy show. There's no point in trying to know the name of the food or even choose. He will just give you what he wants. Again, the food was good, but the experience was frustrating. I'm sorry Kazem, you surely are a good guy, but you are quite bad as a host.
After reading some excellent reviews, we came for lunch on a Saturday. The owner doesn't explain the menu because he's the one jokingly suggesting the dishes. Unfortunately, he doesn't explain them and keeps joking about everything (too much). The mixed appetizers were a disappointment, while the rice was good...but I've had much better Persian/Syrian/Lebanese/Afghan cuisine around.
Rustic place, don't worry about a little dust on the chandelier because the pros are elsewhere! The menu is endless and pointless. Get advice directly from them. I've been there several times and they've never failed! I recommend their appetizer and plated kebab! Fair prices for generous portions!
