Every dish is an explosion of flavors in your mouth, and there's a research and attention to detail that doesn't go unnoticed. Kudos to the entire staff, especially Matteo. And as I told you in person, if I lived in Pescara, I'd come there for lunch and dinner every day. You're the best

We were looking for a fish restaurant in Pescara when we found Ittico online and here we tried to book a table, but all the tables were apparently reserved for... read more We were looking for a fish restaurant in Pescara when we found Ittico online and here we tried to book a table, but all the tables were apparently reserved for weeks, so we decided to see if there was room in person. When we arrived, to our surprise the restaurant was empty. They seated us and we ordered wine and appetizers. The problem arose when they brought us the wrong dish. I tried to get the waiter's attention but he was busy cleaning. When we managed to get his attention he told us that there was nothing he could do because the kitchen was closed. We arrived at the restaurant at 9.30pm and it was around 10.15pm, and the restaurant closed at 11pm. I understand that the restaurant was empty and that they wanted to close early, but there was no interest in making sure that the dishes were right and everything was fine. The only interest, 45 minutes before the place closed, was cleaning. We sent the dish back and the waiter told us he would remove the dish from the bill, but he didn't. Ultimately the service ruined our experience. The waiter continued to tell us that we had ordered wrong. The food was great but I wouldn't recommend the place based on how we were treated.
