It is not a high end restaurant and nor does it pretend to be with its modern colourful decor.

There ar... read more I have to say first of all that I have been a bit disappointed with my meals this weekend here in Pescara. Very unusual for me, I love Italian cuisine. There are hundreds of pizzerias, I have never seen so many, probably because the other restaurants are so poor. Today I was in Ittico, 5 people in total during my time there. The pasta was hard, not al dente, but hard. There was hardly any sauce, supposedly salmon and courgette, and the fish main course was a tiny sole, frozen and not worth the effort to fillet. I did not enjoy my lunch, and I hope it was just a bad day for this restaurant. Service was fine, and it is quite an attractive dining room, but let down on this occasion by tbe food.
