Easily the worst cheesec... read more I would've given it 5 stars but dessert really ruined it. The cheesecake was completely frozen. I could barely break it with the spoon. Easily the worst cheesecake I've ever had. I was going to tell the waiter when he came back with our wine. But he never brought the wine we ordered. Not that it would've mattered to tell them, it clearly came right out of the freezer and onto the plate, so they already knew they were serving it frozen.

I love the walk from centro storico to castello di monterone. once in the castle it is wonderfully peaceful with magnificent gardens and views of perugia. the restaurant has a wonderful terrace and a large modern interieur. the current chef, domenico, made great things with the kitchen. I love eating the atmosphere and the excellent staff. the hotel and restaurant staff is really great. eating is not always consistent, but I still enjoy the menu, the friendliness and the venue.

I recommend this to everyone who wants a nice dinner on a hill.

Ho trovato un raro centro di eccellenza nella ristorazione, capace di soddisfare il cliente in tutti gli aspetti: qualità, presentazione, atmosfera e cordialità. La faraona, servita su un tessuto di purea di patate, mi ha davvero colpito ed è stata l’emblema dell’accurata selezione delle materie prime e del riguardo nella preparazione dei piatti. Prezzi generosi ma giustificati da quanto appena detto.
