I love the walk from centro storico to castello di monterone. once in the castle it is wonderfully peaceful with magnificent gardens and views of perugia. the restaurant has a wonderful terrace and a large modern interieur. the current chef, domenico, made great things with the kitchen. I love eating the atmosphere and the excellent staff. the hotel and restaurant staff is really great. eating is not always consistent, but I still enjoy the menu, the friendliness and the venue.

What a sound! we visited four times during a three-week stay close to perugia, and apart from the last visit where each single chain smoker seemed close to the... read more What a sound! we visited four times during a three-week stay close to perugia, and apart from the last visit where each single chain smoker seemed close to the place to lunch, we had wonderful lunch, drink in the view (not to mention the aperol splash,) enjoy the eclectic local source menu (including child-friendly pasta pomoda.

I recommend this to everyone who wants a nice dinner on a hill.
