The apertisers arrived for 3 out of 4 of us and the owner had to be reminded twice re the missing Fritto Misto. For the mains 3 of us had almost finished before the 4th pizza turned up. My partner and I had the pork and it was overcooked and very dry (in fact one was slightly burnt), the overall impression was the chef didn't care about what he/she was serving. When we'd asked for the bill the owner turned up with dolci (we think as an apology) but even so it tasted like Sara Lee. It may have been because it was a Sunday and the restaurant was very quiet but we had better, and cheaper, meals in Perugia. Look beyond this restaurant.

It felt like we were with family we were treated so nicely and were surrounded by locals. Food is good and reasonable! We had carafe of house red (surprisingly good), 2 bottles of water, bruschetta (good), pasta (bacon, onions and red sauce that was yummy and filling as my only dish) and veal Marsala (excellently cooked) and one grappa for just 53€. We would go again!

The owner knew everyone, however, as other reviewers have noted as a non-local don't expect him to acknowledge your presence, not that it matters. Overall, it is a good, moderately priced restaurant.

I can only say good things about it: the food is fantastic, the staff is very kind and helpful and the atmosphere is pleasant! I ate a lemon escalope and a hot brownie, both amazing! Definitely recommended!

We ordered the best they had of starters as we don't know Italian. My wife got a brochetta which was very good. I got a plate of assorted meat and deep fried products. The plate was not particularly delicate and was characterized by affordable products. Topped off when an insect crawled out from the good on the plate. For the main course, we wanted Italian pizza today. Again we ordered the best and second best they had. In my opinion they could had told us that the pizza they considered was best was covered with raw eggs. The egg made the pizza saucy. By the way, it was tasteless. My wife's pizza she described as boring. We have both tasted many better Italian pizzas in Norway. What saved the situation somewhat was a waiter who took over our table towards the end. He served us a suprise dessert of homemade cakes. It raised the meal somewhat therefore also 2 stars. Not a place to recommend.
