Attended a private function here this weekend. Great venue and decor and what a nice view. Canapes/small plates that went around for guests were lovely, especially the squid rings! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would like to come back again in summer. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Reveley:
Deciding to have lunch at The Reveley at Elizabeth Quay was a very disappointing experience, we ordered the schnitzel x 2, the only tasty thing on the plate was the few leaves of salad and a minuscule amount of celeriac hidden under the large dry piece of very tough meat. The beautiful setting compensated for the average meal. View all feedback.
The three levels all had a comfortable setting and great views, we loved the selection of food and drinks on the ground level. Our meals were delicious and served nice and quick, the staff were happy and helpful we would definitely return to "The Reveley". The only reason for the 3star rating was due to the ongoing site works.
Awesome staff, excellent service great selection of beverages and the meals are impressive!!I was told,it was to be over expensive, however that is not the case!,location, quality of food is very reasonable for dining in the city.Everyone at the table of 12,said nothing but good things about The Reveley Finished the afternoon with roof top drinks, great crowd and views Look forward to our return!!!
Loved the setting of the Reveley for high tea, with views overlooking the water. Be careful when sitting next to the windows on a sunny day as it can get really warm. The service was excellent - very helpful and attentive. Although the nibbles were based off traditional high tea fare, most were prepared with a fun and modern twist. For example, raspberry panna cotta was served in a jar and topped with wisps of fairy floss. However, I would have preferred to pass on the house-made rocky road morsels (way too sweet) and sub in a scone instead. It doesn't quite feel right to partake in a high tea without scones. The savory items made to suit the vegetarians in the group were also greatly appreciated - a few of them were so good that they made the non-vegetarians envious of the selection (e.g., pumpkin salad, fried polenta, vegetable tart, corn and zucchini fritter). The tea was copious and the coffee smooth. All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon spent at the Reveley.
Service was outstanding, thank you Amro! Unobtrusive and on the ball throughout the evening. The menu is limited thus the chefs' culinary skills really shine and the quality of their produce is excellent. There is a well developed wine and drinks menu and of course what a great view in this perfect location. It is an easy walk from the Elizabeth Quay train station so no need for parking hassles. Our table for six was in the dark initially however they did turn another light on and all was revealed thankfully. We were very impressed with our experience.
Our table was next to the window with lovely city views & overlooking Elizabeth Quays. I felt the menu was a little limited but we did order was delicious. Service was very good.
