Surprisingly happy with our visit. Went here for breakfast and the staff was lovely. We thought being a bar pub, their breakfast would be average, maybe even below par. But we were wrong! It was tasty. They were generous with their portion and for the $20 you pay, it's definitely worth the money. I've been to brunch places and usually $20 gets you nothing! View all feedback.
What Scottlandyard doesn't like about The George:

Beautiful location, place in service and delicious food. Everything was just perfect.
Fantastic service, open beautiful and early, and prices are reasonable. Large flat white was smooth and creamy, the George Grande was perfectly cooked and was delicious.
What an experience is to dinate with The George! The only mistake I have is the Martini. to cool glass and tin. 5ml fresh wormwood (if the bottle is open for longer than a week, the taste profile changes) over ice, add Gin and STIR (not shake, James Bond is not a genius). Let flavors naturally combine, shaking is for emulsion purposes. Garnish was great, but for the extra small kick, an orange peeling twist that had ignited the oils over the Martini would take off your cocktail well. I think I went on the subject. Stop the big workers!
Booked high tea for schoolgirl recovery, now in their mid-30s. Nice service and food. We could enjoy a long rest. The Prosecco is charming, like the Scottish gentleman who works there (he is also light on the eyes of ladies). Worth a visit.
Like their customer service and the food was absolutely fantastic.
