What Fernando Weissnat doesn't like about Sushia Cloister's Plaza:
$17.50 for a bento box where the tempura has been replaced by cold supermarket style spring rolls & piece of crumbed calamari (also cold & from a box). Sashimi was nice but not worth it for the price. What Urban Abernathy likes about Sushia Cloister's Plaza:
This is one of the better Japanese fast food outlets in the CBD.
Efficient, courteous staff, spotless modern cafe, well priced fresh sushi, hot dishes and Japanese salads to go.
Today I chose the 'volcano scallop' dish. $7.50. We ate lunch in the Cloisters building outdoor deck area. Magic. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with friendly staff. The pricing is reasonable, making it a good option for lunch in the CBD. The freshly made sushi is a highlight for many customers. However, some have found the portions to be poor value, with disappointed experiences. Despite some negative reviews, many still appreciate the efficient service, courteous staff, and delicious menu options, such as the 'volcano scallop' dish. Customers seem to either love or hate this Japanese fast food outlet, but for those who enjoy it, it provides a convenient and tasty lunch option in the city.
This is my go to lunch when I'm in the city. I love their teriyaki salmon with salad and brown rice. Their sushi isn't too bad, grilled salmon aburi.
