Was Chizzel at Source Foods a mag?
This is s relatively small cafe but it does great food. Most of what they do is breakfast related but they do more substantial meals. On this visit they had a great special of a steak in a roll for $15.50. It was well presented and very tasty. I also ordered a Cheeky Monkey which was a banana and peanut smoothie. Delicious. I decided to try this place place for brunch yesterday when I was in Perth, as the reviews looked pretty good. My experience was a fairly average one over all. The menu only had a couple of vegan options, and no vegan cakes. Situated on the corner of Beaufort St and Brisbane St sits Source and its originality.
Quite a nice brunch (except for mine which was extremely overcooked & overpriced) at Source Foods in Highgate! Unfortunately, two dishes had overcooked
I had the Avocado Toast vegan option which substituted the eggs for crispy cauliflower. I also added the hash browns. This was absolutely delicious, however the ‘cbf’ attitude by the blonde girl on the counter who was unfriendly, answered queries with short replies made the whole experience a sour one. I’ve worked hospitality for over 10 years, she needs a new job.
Such a cute little café! Green juice was delicious and refreshing. Overall atmosphere very chill and nature-y. Had a great time!
