What ریحانک میردامادی dislikes about Romany:
Ordered three chicken parmigianas, recieved three veal parmigianas instead, two got sent back to the kitchen to be fixed, staff were very sorry, bought two back out one was chicken and one was veal again, pointed it out to the staff who were then very rude and said sorry I obviously cant help you because it's obviously chicken, they took it away and came back minutes later and didn't apologise but did say it was veal... Romany is an old favourite of mine. A great spot that year in and year out serves good food. Traditional and comforting food. I'm a fan ,,,, littlegirlbigfood.blogspot.com
We are not often in Perth but when we are we always call in. A bit anxious this time as my wife is on a strict diet since a year but she wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary at Romany. Well surely no regrets it was a long time since I have her seeing enjoying her meals from starter rill desert. No problems whatsoever, both staff and owner went out of their way to make this night special. All dishes (and drinks) were great as usual and we really had the best night since a long time. Huge thanks to all at Romany, we will be back again!
Nothing has changed in 30 years (carpet looks the same). A cafe with tablecloths and space between the tables - good acoustics. Efficient service, huge serves - order off the menu or just ask for what you want and they will make it for you. Wine is a little exe but ... always is! Enjoyable night not elaborate but wholesome.
I eat a lot but this time I had a salad and I was really surprised with what I had. The best caesar salad I ever ate, and the last time I had tried it was at my boy's wedding. It was tasty and it brought pleasant memories so 5/5 from me.
A very quite and welcoming restuarant. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. The meals seemed quite expensive but the serving size was great. The marinara was huge and packed with fresh mussels, prawns, fish and squid. The pasta sauce was light and tasty. A great meal. Definitely worth a try!
The restaurant in question, located in Northbridge, is a mixed bag according to diners. The negative reviews lament the poor quality and high prices of the dishes, with complaints ranging from watery tomato sauce to bland breaded chicken. However, positive feedback highlights the delicious Caesar salad, excellent service, and authentic Italian cuisine. Despite inconsistencies, the restaurant seems to have a loyal following, with guests willing to overlook any shortcomings for a taste of classic Italian fare in a vibrant atmosphere.
