Surprising cafe which appears to do all its own cooking and baking . Tasty if anglocized asian dishes at lunch, killer house made muffins and very good coffee served by freindly staff. Place looks ramshackle and constantly under renovation but no matter.
Only downer is pricing on some foods is getting a bit ahead of itself View all feedback.
What Gino Wehner doesn't like about Paul's 4 Provisions:
the muffins here are really good. I was back several times for them, although today not as much filling as usual. not astonishing or creatiw in relation to aromen (they have chocolate, blueberry, orange and poppy, skyberry and white chocolate, the usual suspects), but fresh, large, tasty, and this place is a bit of a deli where it can buy refrigerators with supermarket type food / tastes. many hot food in the offer.... The muffins here are really good. I've been back several times for them, although today's didn't have as much filling as usual. Not amazing or creative in terms of flavours (they have chocolate, blueberry, orange and poppy seed, raspberry and white chocolate, the usual suspects) but fresh, large, tasty, and $4. This place is a bit of a deli in that it has fridges with supermarket type foods/snacks to purchase. Lots of hot food on offer. Lots of seating. Lots of sweet goods on display. PayPass accepted but I think there might be a $10 minimum.
In a new office and searching for somewhere to grab a quick bite. I popped in here because it's close and the 'provisions' tag leads me to think fresh and local. Service was fine. There was no hot food that was vegetarian. This place is listed as veggie friendly. If you've go two bain Marie and nothing veggie but chips, then you're not veggie friendly. When I asked what they could offer me there was not much but as I was about to walk away they said they had arancini which could be warmed up. I got that and some chips. It was awful. It was bland but with the edge of a displeasing mix of herbs, very greasy. The chips were luke-warm. $13 for the pleasure. There's 800 new people over the road, guys. Time to lift your game if you want some business! Also if there's someone in management reading this - get the staff to serve you an arancini and see what you think.
