This is the second and last time I have visited here. Previous visit the service was shabby and the chips were cold. This time I placed my order, went to sit at... read more This is the second and last time I have visited here. Previous visit the service was shabby and the chips were cold. This time I placed my order, went to sit at a table, only to find the table dirty. Had to ask them to...clean it which they did. Noticed food on the floor at the next table. This at a time of COVID, when one might expect due attention would be paid to these matters! 15 minutes passed no sign of my order. Asked where it was. Told it was coming. Another 10 minutes passed, during which time I noticed two diners that had arrived after I had, getting their orders before me. That was enough for me. I went to the counter to ask for a refund. They offered me free chips. That wasn’t my point, so declined and took the refund. I told the manager that they should have told me at the outset that the order would take 25 minutes. I was not interested to hear afterwards that they were short staffed, that it depended on which grill my order was made etc! Why didn’t they tell me that at the outset? Sorry Nando’s despite your catchy adverts, your service has let you down and I won’t be back.

The workers are young and do not understand anything in cooking, and I and my friend several times returned the order because it is unripe and the potatoes are full of oil and it smells foul because it is fried...in old oil and something happened to me on the last visit there was his hair on the potatoes, it looked like it was from the arm of one of the chef, and when the employee saw him the response was Cold, and he said I could give you a new plate, but I was disgusted and had a blocked appetite. I hope there will be better interest and control over the workers because this branch is the main branch in the area and I am a constant sponsor of your restaurant.
