Mary St can do no wrong! Loving the little pop up at QV1, excited to hear they're moving into their own permanent space soon. Bacon & Egg Roll was flipping divine, soft, textural and tasty. Egg was cooked beautifully and loved the goo. Plum Danish was also lovely, so flaky and buttery. Good Ethiopian coffee blend too. I'll be back. View all feedback.
What Shaylee Daniel doesn't like about Mary Street Bakery:
Every time I stop by this Mary St the staff are so warm and friendly, especially this one girl who's next level, think her name's Heather or something...anyhoo, I would consider myself a bit of an iced chocolate connoisseur, name any café, I've tested out their iced choccies....but this Mary St have somehow managed to create the perfect ratio of milk, chocolate sauce and icecream...a balance of beautiful sweet tones.... Such a great vibe about this place. The coffee was perfect, the food portions super generous and the staff are really attentive. Highly recommend!
Oh how do i love those beautiful pancakes with fried chicken for breakfast, and cannot ever leave without a few dougnuts for later.
The fried chicken, pancake, chilli combo was amazing and the staff were great. The tables are a bit too close together for my liking and having to go through the bakery to use the bathrooms was interesting. These minor points do not take away from the fantastic food. Will be bringing the rest of the family here soon, but I have noted the lack of highchairs...
The morning buns are the best. It’s fantastic to know that we share this world with such a delicious baked good.
Always love going to Mary Street Bakery, the boiled eggs and toast soldiers are my favorite but the code is always spot on too.
