I give 5 stars to the front door staff member and 4 stars for the food which had really nice flavors and good-sized portions. However, I cannot give a star for cleanliness during COVID times. Unfortunately, despite requesting a high chair in my booking, there was none at the table when we arrived. The chairs were dirty and disgusting, with not one of them being clean. I asked a staff member for a clean high chair, and while one man was quick to address it, others were struggling to fix a malfunctioning mist spray. Additionally, I do not recommend sitting under the patio if you cannot handle the heat. When the high chair finally arrived, it was dirty with food and dust on the seat. As someone who works in hospitality, I was quite annoyed by the lack of cleanliness, especially since over 6 chairs were in a similar dirty state. A few dirty chairs can be tolerated, but not all of them.
We dropped into this huge pub about 2pm on Sunday afternoon. We did not have a reservation however the staff accommodated us with an outside table. The grounds are huge and super kid friendly. Lots of play equipment. We ordered at the bar and received...a buzzer. The food came out very quickly and was very decent pub grub. Overall friendly service. Slightly more expensive than your suburban pub but it was a great experience. Would be a fantastic location for a large group gathering. The singer was a bonus.
We have visited this restaurant twice in the last month. The first visit was for a group event and it was excellent. The venue, food, and staff were all great. Encouraged by this positive experience, we decided to return for lunch on another day. While the venue was still excellent, the staff were okay, but unfortunately the food was terrible. I had to send my first dish back and was offered a new one (which was the same). I asked for something different, but it was also bland and flavorless. My wife's steak was overcooked, which is surprising for a thick piece of meat. Overall, I would give an average score, mostly based on our first visit. If I were only rating our second visit, it would be poor. I doubt we will return.
The food was tasty, but it took more than an hour to be served. The restaurant is very crowded, and the atmosphere in the park is enjoyable for young children. Overall, our experience here was just okay.
We had a group of 23 for the 80th birthday of my mother. the staff and the chefs have not missed a beat. Eat was ordered and finished in 30min. used its huge tabletts to ferry 12 pizzas, wedges, chips, chicken wings, paddle rings and more....Totally cost less than $18 per person. amazing. thanks young, a great job!
