Happy Thai West Perth

Upon arriving at our lodgings, we had intended to visit the supermarket for dinner ingredients. However, due to time constraints, we decided to dine at a fantastic Thai restaurant instead. The atmosphere was casual and the prices were very affordable. The server was delightful, and the food was served quickly and was incredibly delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine and great service.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Happi Thai. The owner provided personalized service to accommodate my taste preferences. I will definitely be returning to Sanop Thai in the future.

This excellent restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, and can be found opposite the Factory Outlet mall on Wellington Street. It's well worth the journey, as the food quality is excellent, portion sizes are good, and the service was also very good. At lunchtimes and in the evening, you can order a half portion of a meal with rice or choice of noodles for a very good price (under $15). The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is clean and everything looks new. Wide range of Thai food, all cooked to order. Excellent quality and I had no complaints about the portion size. The food was so good, and much better value than some of the other Asian restaurants in Northbridge, that I returned the very next day for lunch and was not disappointed.

During our stay at the QT hotel, we came across this restaurant located just across the road. We decided to get takeaway from here on two separate occasions after a long day of touring. Despite not being very familiar with Korean cuisine, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was quick and efficient. It was evident that the restaurant is a favorite among locals as it was packed on both weeknights.

Happy Thai and Happy Customer. I rarely write a review unless I am disappointed but this time I thought it would be a good idea to let people in the area know that we have an excellent restaurant that knows how to cook. As a chef myself for 20 years I am usually disheartened when I eat out or buy takeaway but this was not the case with Happy Thai. I ordered mixed vegetables with oyster sauce, Chicken with cashew nuts, Thai noodles and steamed rice. The overall quality was 8/10 which is a high mark for any eatery in Perth, the price was 10/10 paying only $45 for 3 dishes and rice, I could barely buy the ingredients and cook the meal myself for that price. The meal was toned down to a western palate which was good because I like chilli but my parents don't so I put my own chilli on the side. All meals had a clean taste, not oily and most importantly I could recognise all the ingredients on my plate. The quality of ingredients used was outstanding (no penny pinching) with plenty of fresh broccoli, red capsicum, green beans and a lot of other Asian vegetables. I am not a fan of heavy, oily, overly flavoured unrecognisable food which is often made using the cheapest ingredients and Happy Thai did none of that which really allowed me to eat my meal with gusto. I am so happy I tried Happy Thai, I almost gave up on trying anymore restaurants in the area due to their over priced poor quality meals but now I am looking forward to trying many of the other dishes on the Happy Thai menu and I can take a break from cooking every night with Happy Thai a short walk from my home. The menu is extensive and I have plenty to choose from at great value prices. I should also mention that the service at the counter was polite, courteous and friendly and my 3 dishes and rice was ready in less than 10 minutes. I was able to pay with my American Express card with Zero surcharge. Keep up the good work Happy Thai, you have a new regular customer now.
