While the establishment offers delicious baked goods and generous portions, service seems to be a recurring issue. What User dislikes about Devil Bakehouse:
The staff at this restaurant is not great. My annual visit to the Devil Bakehouse reminded me why it’s only once a year. I was hoping for a delicious meal (my partner is vegetarian), but because I was on a tight budget, the staff made fun of me for not wanting to pay an extra dollar for her limp salad to go with my overcooked burger (with a baked crust). The coffee was decent, but the baked goods were either rubbery... View all feedback.

The staff were rude and didn’t even greet us when we arrived. The coffee was cold and bitter, and it was incredibly overpriced. The portion I received was also too large for what it was. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the money.

Amazing pies . Had the chunky steak pie and tasted unreal. Was so fresh . Had a longblack coffee and was ok .

Disappointing. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience having a quick morning tea on our way to Hobart. The staff seemed to be upset with each other which meant our dine in order was forgotten and our takeaway coffees the wrong size. Several other people were served before they asked us what our order was again. The pie was delicious, quite a large serving. The sausage roll was a tad bland. White choc and macadamia biscuit was yummy.
