I lived in Sydney for a few years when bahn mi was everywhere, cheap, and incredible. Now its cool in Perth. City Provisions is one of my favorite places for bahn mi, not Sydney level, but not a rip off either. I've never had any of the fried or hot food here, but the sandwiches are always fresh.

I've been on a bit of a banh mi journey so I had read that City Provisions offer a really good banh mi so popped by. Place an order and it's prepared in a jiffy. The bun is quite crunchy and flaky but soft and is well filled with tasty ingredients. I like the sweet and sour dressing which moistens the carrots, cucumber and coriander. The chilli stays in the background but really builds and has quite a hum. The meats are a little disappointing being deli meats rather than the real thing.
